Michael FIMERI

General Manager

Michael Fimeri joined Wanfuteng Bank in 2018 as General Manager. Michael moved to Vanuatu to join National Bank of Vanuatu as Group Treasurer. He subsequently ran Commercial Banking and was appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2017. Prior to moving to Vanuatu, Michael occupied various positions in Financial Markets including Head of Structuring at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Michael has also held senior positions in Relationship Banking, Risk Management and Corporate Advisory.

Michael was born in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Economics and Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.


Peter DINSMORE

Chief Financial Officer

Peter Dinsmore joined Wanfuteng Bank Limited on 1st August 2019 as Senior Vice President Finance.

Peter has had over 20 years experience in senior executive positions in a variety of local and international banking and financial institutions including Bank of South Pacific, Westpac Banking Corporation, Credit Lyonnais Australia Limited and HongKongBank Australia Limited. Peter moved to Vanuatu in 2010 and held senior Finance and Treasury positions with Westpac Bank and Bank of South Pacific Limited, prior to his joining Wanfuteng Bank Limited.

Peter is an Australian citizen and hold a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Accounting and Economics and is a member of the Australian CPA.


Mariana LAL
Chief Risk Officer

Mariana Lal joined Wanfuteng Bank in 2019 as Chief Risk Officer. Mariana moved to Vanuatu in 2007 joining Westpac (now BSP) as the Head of Credit and Compliance. In 2011 she joined ANZ Asia Retail & Pacific division as a Chief Risk Officer for Vanuatu, Timor Leste, Kiribati, Tonga, Samoa and Cooks Islands. Prior to moving to Vanuatu, Mariana occupied various positions with then Lloyd owned NBNZ and Westpac Banking Corporation in New Zealand, including Legal Counsel for Westpac New Zealand. She also held senior positions in Risk Management and Relationship Banking. Mariana holds a Bachelor of Laws from European University Association affiliated University of Split, as well as CSA Financial Accounting certificate accredited by Chartered Banker Institute (UK).

Mariana is a New Zealand and Vanuatu citizen.


Tek KON LIM

Head of Relationship Banking

Tek Kon Lim joined Wanfuteng Bank in March 2019 as Head of Relationship Banking. Prior to returning to Vanuatu, Tek Kon was Head of Commercial and SME at ANZ Papua New Guinea. He has held various positions in Retail and Commercial Banking with ANZ and HSBC in Australia including international secondments to Vietnam and China. During his career, Tek Kon has worked in Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong and Fiji.

Tek Kon holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (University of Toronto, Canada) and Diploma in Property (Real Estate).


Makrao LUEN

Head of Retail Operations

Makrao Luen joined Wanfuteng Bank in April 2019 as Head of Retail Operations. Makrao moved to Vanuatu in 1998 and joined ANZ Bank (Vanuatu) Ltd in 1999 as a Lending Support Officer. In January 2007 she was appointed as Small Business Specialist and then moved to Manager Lending Support in 2009. In 2011 she was appointed as Manager Risk and Compliance before moving to manage ANZ’s biggest and busiest branch in Port Vila as the Branch Manager. Before joining Wanfuteng Bank Makrao was appointed as Head of Retail.

Makrao was born in Rotuma and took business studies at the Fiji Institute of Technology.


Manida LUTCHMOODOO

Compliance Manager

Manida Lutchmoodoo joined Wanfuteng Bank in May 2019 as Compliance Manager. Prior to moving to Vanuatu, Manida was Senior Accounts Executive at OCRA (Mauritius) Limited for 15 years. She also has 4 years of working experience in Vanuatu as International Services Manager with Moores Rowland Vanuatu. Manida holds a Certificate in Business Environment and a STEP Certification in Foundation (Trusts and Estate). She has carried out Senior Management roles encompassing the full spectrum of AML/CTF Regulations, Management and Regulatory Frameworks and has been working closely with the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.
