Catherine Le Bourgeois
Ms. Catherine Le Bourgeois holds a Master in Accounting and Finance, and Master in Business Law, and completed various training in General Management, Tax and Finance.
Catherine has over 40 years of experience in the banking, legal, financial and software industries in different capacities.
As CEO of the Bank and member of the Board since March 2018, Ms. Le Bourgeois guided Wanfuteng Bank's complete remodelling, expansion and office relocation to downtown Port Vila.
Wilmaraia joined Wanfuteng Bank on 1st July 2020 as General Manager.
Wilmaraia joined Wanfuteng Bank from Air Vanuatu, where she has been working for the last year as General Manager of Human Resources. Previously, Wilmaraia built her career at ANZ over a period of fourteen years in Vanuatu, Kiribati, Australia and Fiji, where she covered numerous roles including the Head of Retail, Acting Chief Executive Officer in Vanuatu and Kiribati and concluding her career as the first Ni-Vanuatu Chief Operating Officer.
Wilmaraia is a Vanuatu citizen.
Wilmaraia currently holds a Bachelor in Business Studies from Auckland University of Technology (NZ) and an Masters in Business Administration from Deakin University (Australia)
Chief Financial Officer
Peter Dinsmore joined Wanfuteng Bank Limited on 1st August 2019 as Senior Vice President Finance.
Peter has had over 20 years experience in senior executive positions in a variety of local and international banking and financial institutions including Bank of South Pacific, Westpac Banking Corporation, Credit Lyonnais Australia Limited and HongKongBank Australia Limited. Peter moved to Vanuatu in 2010 and held senior Finance and Treasury positions with Westpac Bank and Bank of South Pacific Limited, prior to his joining Wanfuteng Bank Limited.
Peter is an Australian citizen and hold a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Accounting and Economics and is a member of the Australian CPA.
Chief Risk Officer
Mariana Lal joined Wanfuteng Bank in 2019 as Chief Risk Officer. Mariana moved to Vanuatu in 2007 joining Westpac (now BSP) as the Head of Credit and Compliance. In 2011 she joined ANZ Asia Retail & Pacific division as a Chief Risk Officer for Vanuatu, Timor Leste, Kiribati, Tonga, Samoa and Cooks Islands. Prior to moving to Vanuatu, Mariana occupied various positions with then Lloyd owned NBNZ and Westpac Banking Corporation in New Zealand, including Legal Counsel for Westpac New Zealand. She also held senior positions in Risk Management and Relationship Banking. Mariana holds a Bachelor of Laws from European University Association affiliated University of Split, as well as CSA Financial Accounting certificate accredited by Chartered Banker Institute (UK).
Mariana is a New Zealand and Vanuatu citizen.
Chief Technical Officer
Alexandre joined Wanfuteng Bank in October 2020.
He holds a master in IT Engineering from SUPINFO International University.
With 10+ years of experience Alex has extensive experience and global expertise in ICT services and project management. Alex moved to Vanuatu in 2016 where he held the position of General Manager at EBS providing ICT services to a wide range of companies before joining Wanfuteng Bank.
Head of Relationship Banking
Charles Siléyé joined Wanfuteng Bank in February 2020 and is now the Head of Relationship Banking.
Prior to moving to Wanfuteng, he spent 2 years with BSP Vanuatu as Head of Corporate and prior to that 15 years with ANZ Banking Group occupying roles such as Head of Commercial in the Solomon Islands, Head of Emerging Corporate in Kiribati and various roles within ANZ Bank Vanuatu including Foreign Exchange Dealer for at least 3 years. He started his banking career with Bank of Hawaii.
Charles has a vast experience in banking with good market knowledge and is fluent in both written and spoken French, English and Bislama.
Charles is a ni-Vanuatu and hails from the Island of Futuna, TAFEA Province.
Head of Retail Operations
Makrao Luen joined Wanfuteng Bank in April 2019 as Head of Retail Operations. Makrao moved to Vanuatu in 1998 and joined ANZ Bank (Vanuatu) Ltd in 1999 as a Lending Support Officer. In January 2007 she was appointed as Small Business Specialist and then moved to Manager Lending Support in 2009. In 2011 she was appointed as Manager Risk and Compliance before moving to manage ANZ’s biggest and busiest branch in Port Vila as the Branch Manager. Before joining Wanfuteng Bank Makrao was appointed as Head of Retail.
Makrao was born in Rotuma and took business studies at the Fiji Institute of Technology.
Manida Lutchmoodoo joined Wanfuteng Bank in May 2019 as Compliance Manager. Prior to moving to Vanuatu, Manida was Senior Accounts Executive at OCRA (Mauritius) Limited for 15 years. She also has 4 years of working experience in Vanuatu as International Services Manager with Moores Rowland Vanuatu. Manida holds a Certificate in Business Environment and a STEP Certification in Foundation (Trusts and Estate). She has carried out Senior Management roles encompassing the full spectrum of AML/CTF Regulations, Management and Regulatory Frameworks and has been working closely with the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.
